The most important qualification of a teacher of children is commitment to their care. In the classroom, you will see the teacher enjoying the class times as much as the children. Montessori teachers are trained in the philosophy, psychology and pedagogy of Dr. Maria Montessori. The method itself celebrates over 100 years of innovative classroom practices, and has been the start of great people all around the world.
A Child’s Garden is affiliated with the American Montessori Society and adheres to the AMS Code of Ethics. Our school seeks applicants who are certified Lead Teachers, trained Assistant Teachers, and other qualified applicants who are interested in the educational field. We also promote internships and work with Montessori Training Centers to meet their criteria for certification. To ensure stability in our hiring practices, we give priority to individuals who are willing to make a long-term commitment to our school.
