Admissions
We want you to be part of our school and wish for the school to be the best fit for you and your child. At A Child’s Garden Montessori we take a holistic approach to education, addressing all the needs of the child and the family. Our Admission Process is simple:
Upon visiting the school, set an appointment to meet with the Director and observe for half an hour the classroom in which you plan to enroll your child. This is a good opportunity to address any questions you may have.
Bring your child to visit the classroom, to meet the teacher and experience the program. During this visit to the classroom, your child will participate in the classroom while the teacher will evaluate the child’s readiness to enroll in the program. If there are areas of concern, the teacher will discuss them with the parents and assess a plan of action.
Submit the application and the non-refundable $150 application fee, including consent to the two-week trial period in which both, school and parents, decide if the school is the best fit for the child. During the two-week trial, you will be asked to complete and bring additional paperwork required by the state. At the end of the two-week trial period, the parents will meet with the Director to decide if the child is ready for the school. If agreed upon, the child is permanently enrolled.
We welcome all families to be part of ACG. The school offers financial assistance to those families who are in need. For a financial aid application, please contact the school office.
